Dr Fiertag is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working with children and adolescents presenting with the full range of mental health difficulties including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression, somatising and emotional needs relating to physical or chronic illness. Dr Fiertag has undergone specialist training in cognitive behavioural therapy. Dr Fiertag is approved to carry out the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and ADIR (Autism Diagnostic Interview- Revised) and 3Di (The Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic interview). 

 

Dr Fiertag completed her post-graduate training in Psychiatry at St Mary’s Hospital Training Scheme in London. She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at The University of Oxford. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Aberdeen. Dr Fiertag has worked as a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for Central and North West London Foundation NHS Trust, Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust, and Forest House Adolescent Unit, Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. 

 

Dr Fiertag conducts clinical research in collaboration with Imperial College and has many publications in the field of psychiatry. She regularly teaches other healthcare professionals and provides talks to schools. Aside from her work in the UK, Dr Fiertag is involved in several NGO’s supporting the development of mental health services and mental health education in low-income countries.
